As a Frenchman, wine, fashion, food, and APERO (that appetizer ritual) are more than habits to me, they're values.
But here's what I miss, what Vancouver lacks: the feeling of living with History. In France, wherever you pass, you can feel that something happened here before. Every place, every house, every monument is alive with it.
